About This was shot in Tel Aviv Israel, just outside of the historic city of Jaffa. I wanted to feature the clocktower(upper-right part of frame, tilted), but found the red beetle more interesting.

Korto,
Yeah. Probably about 20mph. Thanks for the comments!

Wow! Brilliant, into my favourites. The tilt makes it look like it is accelerating down a hill with some purpose. It probably wasn't doing over 20mph in real life though!

Phil,

Thanks Man!! So far the Nikon D-100 has allowed and encouraged me to realize all of my ideas. I use it for art, product shots, fashion, and portrait. No limitations! The Canons are supposed to be amazing too, but either way you'll find the jump up to D-SLR will open up all kinds of doors for you.
All the Best,

Erik

Love this shot! How do you like the Nikon D100? I'm torn between purchasing this or a Canon.
Thanks
Phil

I love the feeling of motion here. It almost makes me dizzy. Nice detail in the beetle. and great composition.

Thanks Thilo. As far as PS goes, I worked with the colors a bit by seperating the car from the background. I also sharpened the car a bit with Unsharp Mask. The "motion" comes from panning.
cheers,
Erik

Hi Erik,

sensational blurry image. very dynamic, and the tilt adds some extra hitchcock. very special effect on the car itself. No PS here?

take care mate,
thilo
