Hi John, Excellent emotive shot. I think B&W is a very good choice for such a portrait, as colours would only distract from the expression in your sons face. Great shot, very well captured, and a good choice of DOF.

Good moment to make a shot. Very expressive eyes. The image becomes so much more interesting with parts of the face covered. This is the definition of a candid shot.
