About I know this isn't a brilliant photo but i was actually testing the flash card which was acting up when i took this and not really paying attention to what i was shooting. I lost over 100 shots that day :( but when i got home i was able to recover this one from the CF. After playing a bit with the levels i was pleasantly surprised and so the trek up the rock wasn't a total waste :)

hope you enjoy mate!! Lovely camera! the frames are actually the standard ones from paintshop pro - tried photographic edges but wasn't that impressed! NOw starting to use actions in adobe and they're quite good too - hopefully will post some examples soon. Thanks for your comment and enjoy!1

Interesting pictures Mate
I have a question. What program you use for the frames? I like it a lot, it seems little like Photographic edges from AutoFX.
Nice Gallery, I will be getting my Nikon D70 with the default lens 18-70mm Tomorrow..I cant wait:)

Hi larry, thanks for your comments. I already emailed you but thought i would put a shorter version up on here as this might be a point of interest.let me first say that my friend uses the f828 and it?s a brilliant camera and one advantage is that you can actually have the two cards inside which is great in case either fails. As for which is best I?ve never used the memory stick so I can?t really say but I?ve already had problems with three CF ? the last two being exactly the same : lexar 1g 80x wa. They do perform well and write very quickly though. I?ve just orderd the new sandisk ultra which won card of the year ? hopefully I?ll have more luck with that one.

Best regards

Stu

I really like this one SD, the between light and dark, the border you have put around it it all complements the other things in your exposure.

Tell me, I see you used a Lexar CF. I have a new DSC F828, like Judi's ordered, which will take either Memory stick, or CF...what is your thinking on this please? and is this CF a WA version? Not famliar with your camera at all!! :-((

Actually if its easier, lhammond1@earthlink.net is my address. Thanks friend!

Every cloud has a silver lining Stu. What a great one you got here. Sunset, night shot, silhouettes - the lot. Great shot.

SD, it definitely wasn't a total waste. Awesome image and on capturing this image alone, that long walk up the rock was definitely worth it. I only wish I could have been there too, to be able to capture such a beautiful scene. Well done.

I thik this is a perfect one. I like the silhiuettes and also your brushed frame/border. For me it makes the image different from other similar shots. Then the lights from the city perfectly accentuate the red in the sky. So - you did a good work in photoshop....

It seems that you got a super duper professional camera, what a nice shot although you didn't pay attention to what you were shooting. Nice blue and red tones with amazing silhouettes of the branches of the trees, wonderful capture S.D.Holmes, BRAVO,

It is a brilliant photo. Great Silhouette. The brushed borders are bit distracting for me. I wish I had a nickle for every shot I have saved with PS.
