I love stuff like this where you get an abstract structure but you really photographed something that was actually there. It takes a practiced eye and a sure sense of composition. You lack neither.

Some pretty wild angles in this, Alison - is that some kind of drain grate in the sidewalk? I like the way each element has taken something from the other - the pavement has gained character from being painted with the light through the stained glass, and the shapes and patterns of the stained glass have been given texture from the pavement! Cool experiment!

Interesting effect, I think perhaps the contrast level is a tad low.
