Thanks for the comments! Yes, I was going for more of a dreamish effect :). As for how close I was.. well, this is a bit of cheating.. I work for a wildlife refuge and this is actually one of our grizzlies named "Coola" heheh.. the Raven *was* wild however ;)

Fantastic composition.. im not so sure about the toning though.. its both great and in the same time not.. great if you want it to look surreal and "filmish".. not ok if you want it to look natural and more of a wildlife shot! =) I really love the composition though.. superb work!! 7+

Stunning picture. I think I don't want to know how close you had to get to take this picture. The color work you did is excellent. You laid the viewers eye on the main thing you shot. Very well!
