Really here also they are protected the same as all the animals and we have laws against the cruelty animal, but regrettably many authorities don't look that as a crime and the law is only in the paper. Many times the society protector of animals has denounced cases of animal cruelty and the criminals leave free to the few hours because the police catches them but the public prosecutor's office, liberate them immediately. For luck most of people of all the social levels are against the animal cruelty and due to the lack of help of the authorities, many times when seeing these acts, they take the justice for their own hands.
