at first i thought this tree trunk shouldn't be there,but later i accepted its role in the image... i think i would go for a more abstract composition if i had this yellow wall and window in front of me,but this means nothing... your image is not of the snapshot kind but a picture that came out of thinking and reflects your personal taste,so i can't but respect it ;-)

Nice abstract shot. I am not too comfortable with the tree trunk, maybe it can be left out... the composition calls for a center of interest, like an object of a different color... maybe blue, red, or green... maybe a college professor washing windows for extra cash :) The window and the bright yellow wall are screaming for a good abstract composition!
