Not strictly out but not strictly on the safe side either :)
I am not 100% happy with this shot as the angle takes something away from the drop of the weir. I guess that, given I pass this fairly frequently, I see what I got wrong rather than right but I still don't know if the shot I wanted would be possible without a crane or to be standing on a step ladder mid-flow

You were outside the railing I take it??? I like the cement greys along with the fall colors just enough to add but not take away from the rushing water.

Thanks both - I am still not sure. I think it may just be the memory of hanging from a railing some 30 foot above the river :)
Certainly, this was the best of the series I took. I think the problem I have is the perspective, given that you are looking down at an angle rather at river level or central to the flow

I personally like this angled view a lot, Huw - the river still leads the eye in to the bridge. The foliage is lovely, and the water is amazing. Good work!
