Hi Hugo,
thx for the elaborate feedback. as for the colors: I really struggle with my new LCD at home. there are so many differences in lighting between IE and PS, LCD and CRT... this really annoys me.
take care, Thilo

Great shot, Reading your comment, you take the words right out of my mouth; the DOF, blurring the background, the slightly over exposed neon sign as well as the street sign are very well captured. The angle in the sign works well too.
The colours might need a little push, but the faded look adds the atmosphere. Very nice shot... On to the next...;o)
Cheers,
Hugo

Dear MaLuisa,
thanks for the feedback. If the image lets you think then this is the biggest compliment to me =)
As for the HDD: I was too self-confident that nothing will happen. Learned that lesson and will definitely be more cautious in the future =)
take care, Thilo

I think you did a good job with the b/w version but I think I prefer the colors left in. It gives me a satisfying cinematic feel.

Priority? Good question Thilo! Maybe everyone of us should think about it ... before it?s too late :) Signs and so many other things tell us what to do. In the end ... you decide yourself what?s best. The pic gave a lot to think about - thanks!

I like the color version more. Brings more urban elements. Good one! C.

Hi Thilo,
I like this very much... The sharp sign with the blurry background and lights make one think... Great angle, creates a very good perspective...
Cheers,
MaLuisa
P.S. Gret that you could save most of the images... See the bright side, you can all re-scan de images... No way to re-scan digital... hehehehe... From time to time perform backups of your system... Disks tend to fail as much a we do not want to... (I did my consulting job of the day...hehehehehehe) Take care my friend...

Hi Verena,
