I dont understand how I could've missed this one. Very nice composition. I think the contrast between the introvert expression in your brothers look in comparison with the "daring" pose makes this image very strong. Great reportive shot!

Dear Arwa,
I'm not so sure about the glow and its' effect to the softness. haven't used that up to now =)
brightening a picture is not harming the detail normally.

Lots of details on the wood and skin were lost when I brightens the image and added diffuse glow

The door is made out of wood from our farm,
it?s the door of a storage room by the swimming pool
Even tho the house have this contemporary look my dad insisted at having the grill and the storage room made out of mud and wood like the old days :)

Hi arwa,
What a nice picture, so well composed. I figured that this boy knew you before I read your 'about', if he were a stranger I think his expression would have been way different.
Love what you have done here, very nice. That door is AWESOME! and the matching ledge/window sill...very NICE!!! Reminds me of zebra wood.

Dear Arwa,
the image is very balanced IMHO with the split in the vertical. like textures & toning, and the whole expression of your brother is very good. I'm not so sure about the general softness in this image. I would love to see some more detail at least in the textures... but you're the artist and you probably did that deliberately with a special idea in mind.
anyway, nice portrait, my friend.
