Thanks those are great words to go by. I did it in my shot Cleveland 10/31/04 and it turned out nice ! I would have usually put the whole tree in the frame but with your kind words, I see a different way to look at things. Cheers !

You could crop this tighter and dont be afraid of NOT showing the entirety of the building or whatever it is. From the wise words of JIL - i am just passing on what I have learnt!

Lemen (sounds like lemon) Monument. The columns were taken >from the William Lemen family home that stood on Public square about >1830. It was called the "Stone Cottage." It stood on the site of the >Williamson Building, built in 1878, which was iimploded to make room in >1984 for the BP America Bldg. Cleveland Ohio.
