Nice vanishing point. The wet road shines nicely 5 second is a big "sit". Leaning into the road as if traveling at speed. Doggy thoughts.

Matt, this image has been in my favorites for awhile now. I just want you to know that whenever I sit down to pan through my folder, this one catches my eye. It's one of my favorite favorites. There is an array of work in there that includes many award-winning photos. This is an award-winner in my mind. T.

oh my gosh. fantastic shot. I actually like the way this looks without the focus on the dog. I like the feel and focus of the dark and lonley road behind him. I agree with what Toni BauerleinSehnert says.

The dog being blurry isn't necessarily a problem for me. Here's why. He is symbolic of "anydog." Thats any and every one which is alone and abandoned by the side of the road. The blur is a statement about his anonymity. It works as it is in my humble opinion.

I tried to mark, It was a 5 second exposure and she wouldnt stop moving around. It was cold and raining so I tried to carry as little as possible, leaving my fill flash home. I plan on doing this again perhaps on a warmer night with a small flash and bounce. Thanks for asking.
