Funny picture Heath, the exposure looks fine to me, it makes nice contrast of the guy's skin tone with the sand in the background. The sky looks clear and it seems like it was a wonderful sunny day and this is an enough reason making this guy so happy. Good work Heath, my regards.

Hi José - thanks for your comment mate. As far as speed goes, I used aperture priority and maxed it out - on this lens it is only 3.5, but that is enough to get shutter speeds over 1000 in this late afternoon light.
I just wish I had an 8fps D2x. Wouldn't have missed a thing!

The easiest would be to say cool! Of course the guy in the front is the eye-catcher with his crazy move and funny face, but what strikes me is that clear white clud behind him, really neat, and the other guy looks like he's dancing. Real fun shot. Excellently done.

Um. WOW.
So sharp and clear. What was your ISO? As for the exposure - looks fine to me. The overexposed area to the right of the frame doesn't detract at all. And man, that guy's pose is CRAZY!
