Ethereal, romantic, evocative, timeless. . .
A very compelling image of a captivating scene. The subject of this photo is rather ambiguous - it could be the castle, the lake, the mountains, or the sunlight throught the clouds. But there is a flow to the arrangement of the individual elements in this picture that produces a cohesive structure in the image as a whole.
I happen to like the darkness of the castle and foreground as, to me, the form and feeling of it is more important than the revelation of details.

EXCELLENT! Truly a spectacular scene. The shadings of the hills in the distance; wonderful sky and water that glow; and great leading lines.
I especially like the black solid frame that blends right into the image.

Hi Heath, this is awesome. Very moody, with an excellent atmosphere. The composiiton (how else could it be possible) is fantastically well balanced. Beautiful backlighting, whilst preservinThe two jetties open up the composition, creating a very functional opening to the background scenery. It's just perfect!

Is this close to Montreaux.. or am i very wrong? I just have a feeling i've been standing right here, but again: i may be wrong. It's beautiful anyway, and i especially like the tree on the lower left that makes such a good balance in the picture.

Fantastic shot.. very moody and magical! Abit dark around the castle though.. due to the massive sunlight.. would have been perfect with a tad more light/details at the castle! I love the view and perspective.. great shot! =) 7+
