About Poor people like this pedestrian would not give much thought to this suffocating traffic jam. He simply cannot afford any of the modes of transportation no matter how affordable.

Great shot Khaled, I love the curve in the road, but you know I am a sucker for great curves eh;) Actually good geometry and shape draws me like a fly. Sorry I have not posted in a while, I just have not shot anything worth posting, I would say you know how it is but man you never stop posting great shots!!!

Hi Khaled, what if the man is going to a short distance that doesn't require any kind of transportation :) just came to my mind,
I am with Sally about the cropping, not too much, and i like the way you composed this picture, very well done, regards,

What I like in this image is the real record of daily life.. Normally I go through the comments before I do mine, what caught my attention the comments of Samer Safir, which I do agree only in the point that this one should be in journalism cat, other I absolutely disagree. Keep your way of style, and some time the image needs "about", information, we should not be same way of seeing the things, or same clicking otherwise only a copycat. Well seen and done, regards, Saeed

I can see you?re attached to the photo journalism more than art.
You?ve got a point of view in you?re photo. Which I respect BUT??.
Philosophising every photo is not the target, let the photo speaks of itself.
When I see the photo I didn?t like it honestly but when I did read your comment about it I begin to taste it.
My advice is to take the photo and when it speaks of itself without your comment means it?s a strong one.
For the photo now, the man in a white shirt on the right side of the photo with the white microbus on the background make the shot distorted for me.
If he was on the left it would be perfect coz you have Grays all over the left side of the photo. The angle is good and sure for the light.
Keep on?. :)

I like how the road curves around and it leads to the man in the foreground. My only nit pick is the post which looks like its coming out of the top of his head. Other than that, its very good :)

Now this is EGYPT, and traffic Jam, reminds me when i went to visit, i was shocked... :)
But it's beautiful place to visit.
Great image and tone, i wish it was croped more from the bottom "right b4 the mans feet"
Good work.

Excellent shot. Very nice contrast. I think the expression on the closest man's face speaks for all in the picture.

I like the sensation of oppression that produces the flattened perspective. It is a very effective contrast with the image of the solitary pedestrian.

Enhorabuena.

Thanks by your comments

Good day Khaled, Great photo, not only showing us the different modes of transport, but of dress also. I love the perspective you have used in the photo, winding us around the traffic Jam, and even though this man can't afford to ride, will probably beat the cars on foot with less stress. Great tones and beautiful lighting. Alison
