this is the original shot that I used for the refelction shot on ephotozine!
If you read the comments on the photo before (on ephotozine) there was a debate about the tyre - so I thought I'd take the piss and make that the centre by doubling up!
not a bad response to either shot - though I really do like this one, nice rural scene really.

Yet more photoshop eh Ade!!
Although this time you have used it more in keeping with the picture without altering it.
Love the look of the water on the rocks, and the whole colour and feel (although wet and grey) looks great!!

Did you get your feet wet for this shot Ade. I think the effect on the water is great especially in the foreground. Is that a discarded lifebelt on the right hand side? Very skillful post capture work.

actuall..... yeah.
pretty much that colour sky all year round. Makes for decent longer exposure shots like this though.
the water was wet - and my leaky boots didn't protect me too well :-(
Highly reccommend doing the bracket and mask thing though - it's actually really easy, bung 3 photos into one PSD, maske the over and under exposed ones out completely.
Then where it's a bit dark, used a white brush at about 20% flow to paint the mask back in -and vice versa with the overexposed bits.
Just need a good tripod in the field - or stream in this case!!

Good idea and well executed.The water looks cold and wet. What do you mean 'in the autumn' Its like that in the summer. isn't it?
