I almost wonder if this image would have been cooler if it were shot in IR. With a Nikon digital, a good IR filter, and a tripod, you could make it happen. Unfortunately, my Canon 300D is designed with a strong IR cut off filter so I've never been able to experiment with IR.
I think this is a gorgeous photo, but I'm a little mixed on the trees at the bottom of the frame. Some how they don't seem to match the magical feeling of the mountains in the background. On the other hand it does put someething in the foreground.

this was taken the day after I left Granby. Drove through the fresh snow and the south entrance to the park was closed so I had to stay in Jackson. Got up in the rain and fog the nexr day and drove right to this scene, as well as the Moulton Barn, on mormon row. Twas a good day !!
