Hi Patrick
I can see where you are coming from here and it work really well. Maybe darkening the shadows and deleting some of the distracting bits ie cable and lamp on the left would give it extra focus on the people.
But hey..we have to work with what we see.

It was already abit cropped.. not sure it would work to crop it even more. Can try some other cropping and see what happends.
About the rating.. im not sure everyone is honest when they rate.. often super photos have lower then 5.0 in rate... I skipped that quite early. Its enough for me to hear what people think for now! =)

very nice finding here and great dramatic shadow play. like the lighting around the silhouettes of the pedestrians. bw fits the mood very well. you may think about a different cropping with a focus on the people and their shadows. but I will leave this up to the artist ;-)

Well done Patrick ! I love that crisp white light that outlines the back of the couple. You can just feel the warmth of the afternoon light as it creates the long shadows. For some reason this images reminds me of Edward Hoppers painting titled Nighthawks, I think it's the building on the corner that does it.
