About	This was edited in PSP to blow out sections of the face but leave some shadowing for detail and to really bring out the bright blue color of my son's eyes. Thanks to Stace for teaching me this effect in PSP!!

Great shot! You did great work in PSP... I love it... his eyes are beautiful... and I love how they are so widely opened! Nice work! :)

First duplicate your background layer, change it to greyscale and adjust the brightness and contrast until you have the desired result. Use the eraser tool to erase the iris and pupil of the eye on the top layer. Merge your layers and you're done! Pretty easy technique actually. Playing around with the brightness and contrast takes the most time but after a while you'll find settings that work for most of your pictures (depending on lighting).

care to elobrate about the technique here?

i am a design student...who fascinated into pshop.
is it use 2 layer same picture, the top layer make it desature and overexpose, and a coloured layer down..then use circle marquee to selected the eyes and delete the eyes on 1st layer?
