Jeff: Just an idea, but if you seperate out the red channel as a black and white image, you get a really nice photo where the tree stands out from the surroundings.

This really looks like a painting. The sharpness and bright colors really caught my eyes. I also really like the tight crop, really keeps your eyes on the subject. Also I like how you added the rocks and fence o the foreground, really gives you a sence of location. Keep up the good work.
