Hi Dave...been having a look at some more of your work....really quality images.!
i get the impression that you spend a lot of your time around planes...maybe even pushing tin!..Originally I'm from Toronto, ( not I live in LA), but I spent a lot of time around planes and hangars growing up...still love the smell of new fabric doped on an old frame...oh well...anyway...look forward to seeing more of your images...keep up the good work!

Hi Marcel, just took it last Thursday morning. Unfortunately no tripod, I just hopped out of the car on the road in, had to take it from some distance to get the right angle with the sun and consequently it's quite a crop as well.

Beautiful shot of your "office", Dave. I like the dark ground balancing the the dark sky. Very dramatic. I used to be on the other end of air traffic control some but never had the pleasure of visiting St. Andrews?

I don't see any people in the tower. I suppose they're all outside taking pictures. Not much traffic at that time anyway. Dramatic sky, but maybe a tripod would have resulted in a crisper silhouette.

Great capture & colors. The only reward I've found so far for getting up early. I work long shifts so sometimes I drive to & from work in the dark! I much prefer when I get to watch the sun! Dottie

Beautiful lighting and silhouette. My only recommendation would be to straighten the image so the flight tower is parallel to the frame of the photo. As is the building is leaning a bit to the right. The underlighting of the clouds really makes this stand out.
