Judi,
Know i need to study my book, but question is, how close can we focus down with our cameras? Sometimes you seem to go very, very close to a subject??

Couple feet seems to be my closest focus point to date.

Wow, lovely and clear. You can see the reflection in the wood. Well done. This subject would also be good taken up very close and at unusual angles. Could prove to be quite an interesting experiment.
