i really like this image,
the combintion of B&W and color.
We run an ad in the paper for United way,
and this image reminds me of it.. It exactly has the same idea.
Well done.

I see that is what you meant, it is a FANTASTIC image, its just that in my view, I would have left the colors colorful on the bottom side of the path, at the bottom of the photograph, rather than making it a 'wavy' bubble, i would have had the bubble end on the pathway, with less B&W going in streaks into the bottom right corner of colored leaves, I understand that it was purposeful and part of your concept!

I really like it. thanks again for taking time to share it, very good job, and very different from your other stuff. :)

Hi Sam, Well my friend, I've done that on propose, it is like including the man in a bubble of B&W, this is the idea, we see the city in colors, but he see it only in B&W, and this is the idea of the image, the area near to him and including him is in B&W :) take another look at him and tell me what do you think.

Yes dear, the picture has been manipulated to boost the colors, many color adjustment layers, and special layer for the sleeping man in B&W.

Glad that you liked it, Regards,

oooh. I like it. Very VERY saturated and vivid colors - didn you super-treat them? wow. so full of the rainbow colors.

I like the concept, and the way you did it, except i am uncertain why there are lines of B&W radiating above and below the 'patch' of B&W, those, especially below the sidewalk, look very odd and contrived to me, but thats just my aesthetic eye.

thanks for sharing, its a very nice image! bravo!

Hi Ameed, welcome back to UF.
That's a strong image Ameed, as if you want to say that the life is full of joyful colors, there are the bright color, there are the dull and dark colors, but in case of this poor and miserable guy who is sleeping in the park and beside him there is a small bag containing all what he ownes in life is not colored, not cheerful, only black and white, a sad look to the life.
The way you presented it Ameed made it very expressive, Bravo my dear friend,
My best regards to you, 7+++
Khaled.

Awesome work my friend. The concept of this image is so powerful. It certainly makes the mind think about what is actually hidden in a city like this....!
