Great composition AJ. The foreground water is a little burned out, I think I might have added a little contrast and darkened a bit, sort of what you were looking for by thinking B&W. But overall it works well as it is. -mm

I really like this. I especially like the wind-blown spray breaking up the uniform sky. I know what you mean about black and white - I've just scanned a few vaguely similar images myself thinking black and white might be best. I think it wouldn't hurt to try but I also think the soft pastel tones of this image are wonderful and there's no reason why you shouldn't leave it exactly as it is. Great work, well done.

Thanks David. Actually it was still quite warm - about 18C - and there were about 20 surfers out a little to the left of where this shot was taken.

I like the color. My first thought was, I'd love to ride this wave, but it looks really cold. The color adds this dimension to the picture. Great composition. The sucessive bands--including the spray--are very nice.
