It really pushes the envelope as far as what photography is and could be. If it's painting with light, as what I've always held it to be, then it still is a photograph.

Hi Paul, It is 100% photoart... It is difficult to categorize this kind of work as it is not accepted as photography. I consider it photography as I could not have created this piece without the original photo. Would it be alternative process? 50% photo & 50% PS = my visions. Yes it started out as a photo. Hi Debbi! Yes this was done in Photo Shop. It was a photo of a rose... that is where I got the mix of color. I absolutely love my camera... can't wait to buy the macro lens. Thank you for your comment.
