I like the combination of strong shadows and bright light in the same scene - tricky exposure! It definitely has a nostalgic feeling to it with those long shadows. A little bit like the one I took by candlelight during the hurricanes.

Yes the light is very nice creating the long shadows on the wall and that warm glow throughout the scene, I especially like how the frames and pictures are illuminated and the sun mirror!

this photo i like. in my mind, it seems more appropriate for the "shadows" project than the one you submitted. the shadows looming on the wall here seem quite powerful and imposing.
you should try this one in a sepia or b and w just to see how it looks.
