Eric - the full file size actually has a softened appearance. It was only when it was resized for the web that it became much sharper.

Very nicely composed picture. Nice range of tones. You might want to consider using a soft focus filter with this image. To me the subject matter and location seem to be perfect for this type of treatment.

Deatail is excellent and I like the natural light which sometimes in strong light, is difficult to combat. Works well in the natural environment :)
