There were a few people about but I remember the weather for that day was supposed to be grey & wet so Castleton wasn't it's normal busy self. I live in Chesterfield so the Peak is on my doorstep but I don't get out there as much as I'd like. I look forward to seeing your picture.

How on earth did you manage to get Cave Dale with no people in Summer!? I know this area well and have mountain biked both up (more like pushed and carried) and down (seriously scary!) Cave Dale. For a while I lived in Stoney Middleton to the south... Do you live nearby there too? Nice shot by the way... captures the nature of the place really well and the colours are exactly as remembered! Well done!
