though i like the pose (especially the biting of the flower) but i agree with Karen about the twisted toes... the lighting is a bit harsh giving a more flat and unnatural result to the textures and colours...from what you said it is a flash mistake... maybe in B/W would look more natural.... still it is a very nice pic with lots of potential for elaboration... emy

Sid, actually what you are seeing is a lighting error. My camera doesn't have a hot shoe or pc connector for flash. I use the on-camera flash to trigger my slaves. I normally put a very dark red filter in front of the on-camera flash to prevent it from affecting the photo - forgot to put it on with some of this series - DUH! Jeff

I think it does sort of have this one dimensional feel to it, not particularly fond of the twisted toes. I do like the pose on the upper body, and the fiestiness displayed with biting the flower bud. Has some great potential, may even think about doing it more as a headshot.

Jeff, For fear of repeating myself from the last Yulia shot that I commented on, the same sentiments on this one. One small gripe, though. The white background seems to clash with the shadows occuring in front of her (I'm not sure if I'm communicating this so it makes sense). On her right forearm/wrist, for example, there seems to be a shadow occuring from a light source directly to her front. This shadow also occurs from her left arm to her chest. For all I know, this may have been intended. :0) Alright, I'll stop rambling now. Thanks Sid
