About this is a Glacial Erratic left by an ice age from long ago. It is a granite boulder sitting on top of a sandstone shelf...looks odd doesn't it?
I didn't want to go out today but forced myself to shoot some digital film. As a result this image came to the fore after shooting 275 shots. I knew that as soon as the storm of the last couple of days broke, it would be an amazing photo opportunity. So I'm glad I forced myself to get my A** out there. I must say that once I started shooting, my resistance diminished considerably. At the end of the day I was a lot happier!

Hi Tim, you're up late! (I've been to bed and got up again). You really manage to capture the elemental in your work, just rock and sea and sky. Reminds me a lot (in mood at least) of some of the Scottish islands, particularly Orkney, which is mostly so flat that you can never forget you are surrounded by the elements :)
