About Another couple of my birds from this mornings shoot. They are called Double Bars and are native to this area. It is not uncommon to be sitting outside with your feet up and they come down and land on your chair.

I know the bird on the right is slightly out of focus but have you ever tried to photograph these tiny birds. They are so fasty and nervous little things.

Thanks Amna and yes we do sell these birds. They are relatively cheap over here compared to other countries as they are native to our country.

No Larry no soft focus. As I said in the other image. I had bad light and had to reduce my settings lower than I had wanted. I was hoping to get some good flight shots but oh well.

Thankyou Pat. Since I got my tripod, I find it much easier to use, if only I would stop knocking the hanging seed trays. I end up pulling seed out of my hair for the next two days...LOL!!

You were able to capture two very different looks on these birds, Judi. The one on the left looking relaxed and staring off into the distance and the one on the right making sure you didn't make a false move. Well done.

Hello again my friend. We should stop meeting like this or they will talk...LOL!! Only joking. I am so pleased you like my nature work. I felt I hadn't done any for a while so I finally got my butt into gear and did some. I only had half an hour but at least I got a couple of good ones.

Judi Liosatos Judi Liosatos   {K:34047} 11/22/2004
Thankyou Roberto. They certainly don't like human interaction and the one on the right was quite defensive. The other one was more scared than anything. So I only had a few minutes to get a couple of shots. Hence the inferior quality of the shot. I would rather go with a bad shot than risk the birds..LOL!!
