Amazing sight and a photo that might bring out melancholy in many people hundred years from now when the polarbears might be extinct having the ice melt leaving them without possibilities to hunt for seals.
I love the composition with the magic three and the curved line creating such a fine balance and depth as well.

The bears on the march, and the tone of the background shows its there but literally fades from view, leaving only the bears (which is photography 101, show only what is supposed to be there). They stand out so well. Like your 'Fatal Embrace', your entire wildlife series is as good as any photographer will get. Maybe it also reminds us how valuable film is compared with digital.
Just for myself, I thank you for posting all of these photographs.

Still up to your old tricks . . . that of providing excellent sports/nature shots for us to view. This has faultless composition. Aside from the subjects, which are very detailed and perfectly exposed, the rest of the frame has just enough detail to add a little interest. You had an opportunity and made the most of it.

I find this picture really good and WB is excellent, it is grate how they line up, in Iceland we have no beer like this we kill them in instantly if they come too shore from iceberg, we dont want them here this island is too small, your friend icerock

What a super wild life image!
Perfectly composed, with the three bears in the right edge of the picture with enough moving space in front of them, the curvy S to add interest and without any horizon lines to distract or take away from the impact of the three bears position, well exposed not too dark or too bright!
