Thanks for the comment Peter.

Apparently the flower is a Crocosmia Lucifer (info from another usefilm comment). My mum told me it was a Crocosmia, but, I think because she is a devout Christian, left out the 'Lucifer'!

Your images are superb, by the way. I am working my way through them. I see you are a PSP fan too - Photoshop is overrated! I love 'Dark Rose', for the stunning deep purple colour, don't like 'Fireworks!!' as my garden is full of dandelions, but 'Blue Triplets' is my favourite. 8 out of 7 for that one!

My mother told me today that the flower was a Crocosmia. She omitted the Lucifer part, perhaps because she is a devout Christian!!
