It's funny all these people commenting on the short length of exposure and how bright the image is. What impresses me is your driver was able to avoid bumps for 15 seconds. The solid pieces are steady and the time-lines are smooth. The lines in the window look like tidy sine waves. I like that combination of motion and clarity.

Hi Kostas,

thanks for your recent critque,
just been having a looking part way through your folio- vibrant and challenging. This image caught my eye particularly, I love the way the lines of light are found all over the image;in the car, mirror etc..and that you used 35mm, great work.

Regards

Melanie

Man I never get bored of these shots! They just ooze style and 'cool'! I love em! You really are the king of precariously suspended camera photography!

You make me dizzy Kostas, but it is nice, and the feeling of speed is great! But I will tell Mary not to get into your car again , unless she fastens her seat belt.Is that clear?( hahaha)

Best one yet Kostas, I think film is better suited for this, rather than the digital images you have posted in the past.

Kostas Tzanetos Kostas Tzanetos   {K:22012} 11/30/2004
thank you :-)

AJ,
the camera is mounted on a lightweight suction cup made by Cullmann, which is placed outside the window. the shutter is controlled via a cable release ;-)

thank you all :-)))

Michael,
yes it was a pretty bright street + tunnel to get this illumination in such a short exposure ;-)

i can't wait to see what your photogadget has done!

NO TITLE!

After all of those neat titles, why not "Trip like I do", or something like that...

Deft placement of the side mirror to not reflect the camera and give a nice hind view. Even better is the reflection of the side mirror in your passenger window.

F/11 with 15 seconds - must have been a pretty bright street or tunnel from what I can tell, not a lot of streaks.

I just completed my first roll of film with my improvised car cam. I'll have to see if I can somewhat approximate your great results.
