I returned to my native village a few weeks before this highway bridge being opened to traffic. The bridge connects Lang Co peninsula to the north exit of the first tunnel in Vietnam.
Arriving here, I found almost everything has changed, except the poor condition of living and the broad smiles on the kids' faces that reflect my miserable youth 4 decades ago.
Thank You, Michele. To be honest with you, when decided to post this picture, I don't have the good feeling of what you credited to me. My humble purpose was to leave something here so one day, the old friends whom I lost contact during the long war may drop by, seeing this, and recognize our miserable past & youth. I hope by then they will find a way to get in touch with me...
