About This is in UAE, near the vilage of Hatta. These dry river-beds are called Wadi in Arabic and can be dangerous at times as there are flashfloods sometimes. You can see some traces of water on this picture, which means there was either rain or a flash water recently. Fortunately, or unfortunately, this doesn't happen often.
