oh yea .. tamron has released the Di version of this macro lens. I wanted to buy the older version but then thought that i should stick to my lenses and extension tubes for a while till i know exactly what i need.
there's a new sigma 150mm f/4 macro lens for digital cameras. and the canon 100mm seems to be an excellent lens. plus i'm thinking of adding a a fast telephoto lens to my photography gear .. so it's best to wait for a while .. and in the mean time i can save some money ;)

i love it ned - though to be honest i had just bought it and when i got home found out the tamron had released the digital version - wouldn't mind checking it out! I love the clarity on this one but i would have prefered 90mm rather than the 130 i get with the crop
