Hi John, You know you're more than welcome, but I really appreciate it...:) And I do like series, too.
Very powerful composition, as well as a very strong use of shadows. Not sure if it's enough to make it really tick, but as this is a series, and we're in for more, I'll refrain from comments till I've seen them all; The simplicity is there, as is the strenght, and it can only go up...;o)

You are achieving fantastic results with a digicam. It would be harder for me to see "abstractly" through that kind of viewfinder, but it has been no obstacle for you. The strong diagonal and clean design are emblematic of your work. The saw-tooth design made by the shadows really works for me.

Very nice stairway captured in a good way with great graphical feeling, nice details, shadow and light play AND diagonal. I have to hide my camera I think, no more use of it :)
