About	Caitlin's Christening was on the 28th November. This was taken on the Friday beforehand. I'd planned to take some decent shots of her in all her finery for some little while. When it came down to it the whole family had a really heavy cold that week. It ended up that she was just about well enough on the Friday and with all the final preparations to take care of I had about 20 minutes to take shots. I also had my parents there and my wife. All 3 going 'Yoohoo, caitlin, over here' and making the obligatory silly faces. That was probably the shot I should have taken! Not my finest hour and this one was the best I could salvage. I'm pleased with it anyway. It may not be technically great but it's a sweet memory. And I've learned a few lessons from this occasion, like gag the grandparents for instance. The Christening went terrifically well.

Nice, the sharpness is good and the simplicity is very nice. It seems a bit over-sharpened or maybe having some issues with highlight blowout; slightly rough bright areas. Not sure if that's in the original shot or a result of processing.

In any case the pose is nice and seems very suited to the occassion.

Such a sweet lovely composition of a delightful little one, I love it, she looks like a very beautiful doll. I know how you feel about 'gagging' I am a grandparent, but sometimes everyones efforts at yooohhooooing usually means the poor subject doesn't know where to look.
