About Here's the threat: I keep uploading these nature shots until I win an award, then I'll stop..;) This was some sort of old fuel oil tank on at this farm-like artist's colony I was invited to for a couple of weeks. Taken one Fall day in the late afternoon. Duotoned in Photoshop.

I like this one. Simple but effective composition and nice detail.

You are my hero because this shot now has a large comments-to-views ratio, which will cause people to look simply due to that fact! All right, I must stop here with this zaniness. Whatever you do, do NOT add another comment to this shot!.. (I really should cut down on the multiple afternoon cups of coffee...;)

Thanks!..:) Hold on, is this a ploy to get me to stop uploading my nature shots?! (The typing mistake was a dead giveaway of something suspicious going on...;)

derrr.. i meant the official WINNER of the "I LIKE IT" award.

the presenter of this award is clearly not going to get the "ACCURATE TYPING" award.

you are the official of the "I LIKE IT" award

beautiful work... it feels like there is little contrast or detail anywhere but the fuel drum and i think it works perfectly that way. it appears that part of the grass in the distance is blown out but that doesn't really bother me at all. very nice image.

...that's not a threat it's a treat -- which is how I 1st a read your comment as "here's the treat"...great tones and a very simple, yet effective, composition - your duotone ps work is exceptional. keep them comming - K
