Ian I made the following changes/effects. I will explain acc. to PS7. Clouds are by Menu Filter/render/clouds effect as a separate layer. it is totally artificial.I used combination of different flares at various positions by menu Filter/render/lens flare effect. In the first layer where I have the dark background and street lamp, I played with the saturation of the view till to have green moon as burnt. Then I put some frames and combined all together :) cheers.

Nice how the moon and the lamps, sources of light, have produced a burn effect. Really good use of a natural event to add an authentic detail to an abstract. The blurr marks on my picture today serve a similar purpose I suppose, sort of look like brush strokes, where the only real source was everything else. Your burns through the material of your art work add a bit of antiquing Have you used layers of sumple but natural real evnts in all of this? I see clouds there. Possibly flare in a window from a flash on the closest layer..
