About St. Cecilia's Cathedral in Omaha, Nebraska. 97 year old church on the highest point in the county. These bell towers can be seen for miles in every direction.

On a clear day, the bells can be heard for miles as well. I have previously posted some images from the inside of this magnificant structure.

This is the signature piece by architect Thomas Kimball who has 5 buildings in the National Historic Register.

Excellent compostion! I like how you balance all the elements, the main focus is clear on the towers but all the surrounding details never overpower the central theme. Nice work, Kind regards, Rafael

Very nice night-time shot Mark. Your perspective shows the magnitude of the Cathedral. Quite an architechtural accomplishment. Wishing you and your family the very best Christmas wishes too. Look forward to seeing more of your portraits in 2005.

Great composition here, Mark! I like the way you've kept a little detail in the foreground, while concentrating on the well lit bell towers!

Very nicely done Mark. Good composition. Great handling of the color and contrast. I might like the streetlight toned down or removed as it draws the eye. I like it! Well done, Mark. Larry

Mark:

Wonderful use of lighting in light and dark contrasts in this shot. Like the two towers and the sense of "line" extending up to the left and the dark background enhances the lighted towers. Nice frame around photo and nice signature on bottom right too. Excellent!!!

Good photograph Mark. Despite the fact that the subject is mostly to one side, it still comes out well balanced. The diagonal also helps to join the two sides.

Very well framed with perfect lighting, make you feel like your actually there as you can see the right amount of details in the buildings. Keep up the good work.

BEAUTIFUL! And nice to read about this image as well.

Captured very well, I love the warm tones. And I like the space to the right of the frame.

Nice work,
Lori :)
