About The Christian practice of celebrating the Birth of Christ, may have come back to China...

But in actual fact what is really happening... is that the Chinese poeople... are falling head over heels... for the practices of Santa Claus.

So we both arrived, from different origins... somewhat tired... but tea is being served... in the English tradition... and as we will both have so much to talk about... I have also arranged to have the Champagne put on ice... as it will be a long night... in Ol' Shanghai...

Actually the main background capture was from one trip, while the others from another... and happened to recall that that they all had similar backgrounds... Merry Xmas

In the English tradition... left over from when Shanghai had a walled area for the unclean foreign devils... which included the English, Dutch, German, French and some other stragglers... it was the English that really brought their home habits with them... including cumpets with whipped cream & straberry jam, short bread cookies... and certainly white sanwiches with cucumber (the crusts cut off)... while the French brought their Champagne along... the Germans made Stollen... and the Dutch some smoked eel... but that is for later...

Merri Merri Christmas to you and yours!
