Larry, the property that this tree is on has just changed hands and the previous owners didn't take care of watering it over the last year. Therefore it is extremely late in blooming and has only to date produced a couple of flowers instead of the full spread of previous years. So if it comes into a proper bloom I will definitely take some photos otherwise I will have to wait for next season. The new owners have put in landscaped gardens around it so they should be taking a bit better care of it.

But I removed the image almost immediately as my husband said that his Dad might not approve of his photo online. Until I get his permission I will refrain from reuploading it. Ahh, my romantic friend. Thanks Patrick. I am pleased you like this. This is my favourite kind of Frangipani. It seems to stand out from the rest and yet I don't see many of them in my travels. So I am fortunate to have one growing so close to my home.
