Thanks for the info Peter, sounds simple, not the way I tried it before. And here I have about 5 or 6 books on Photoshop CX and I've never looked this up...
I will give it a try per your directions, but probably not till after Christmas. I have SOOO MUCH TO DO YET!!

It's not that hard, just 2 layers. Here's the main where I just erased the background where I wanted using a square eraser on a grid pattern then cleaned up aroung the leaf edges with a smaller eraser. Pasted this on a simple frame, resizing to make it fit.
