About 20 minutes before sunrise - blue hue is original to the lighting. A beautiful location ...but very cold yesterday!! Even colder today, about 17 degrees Fahrenheit right now.

Thanks AJ, luckily yesterday morning was pretty mild - about 35 degrees at 6:30AM - not too bad compared to today - 10 degress before sunrise and 1 an inch of snow. Glad I had the day of work!!!

Hi Richard - thanks for you kind comments. I took many shots yesterday morning, and as usual - about 10 percent of them were good, and maybe one to three real stand outs. However, I think this spot defiantly requires more time and attention, but hopefully when it's a little warmer outside.

A beautiful image, but 17F is too cold for me! The long exposure gives a great mistiness to the water.

This is an outstanding image, not only for its different vertical orientation, but also the fine tones you obtained from a long duration time exposure. The bouy in the upper right just gives the right accent to the whole. The horizon's straight. What else could be done to enhance this picture? Not a thing.
