I hope you understand that I was not asking you to change the image. It is just my personal taste to see the detail in the eye. Like I originally said, maybe that is not what you were going for.... we all have different ideas!  )

Wow. What else can I say? This is fantastic, which leads me to wonder why I have not been here before - your photography is sensational! I usually keep an eye on people with the talent you posess =P
But anyway, back to your image and, as critical and particular as I usually am when write, this time, I have to disagree with Melanie's comment (and yours for this matter). I don't think there is anything you could do to this image to improve it - afterall, how can one possibly improve on perfection? Don't change a thing Dawn. Photography is an artform to people like you and I; no one told Monet how to paint better, and no one told Newton to shoot differently. Your art is the imagery of your mind. Trust your own eye before even consider there may be another opinion.
This is great, and your portfolio is inspirational Dawn. Keep it up and your dream of becoming a pro will soon emerge.

I agree with you about the clarity... orginally the eye was WAY to sharp, so I tried to soften it down a bit since it looked very "pixelated" for some reason, must have been the blue contacts...
But as I was looking at the picture a few seconds ago, I realized I probably shouldn't have tampered with it at all...

I really like this, I only wish there was more clarity and detail in the eye! But, maybe that is not what you were going for?
