Rebecca, this one does work better in Black and White. Interesting composition. The trees in the foreground seem to be straining to get out of the fence.

It's super in BW, and I like very much how you've handled the tones. T.

Excellent capture of the sky. Looks almost like the sort of road a young girl like you should not be driving alone. Sort of an eerie look. Well done. Del.

Lovely moody shot in B&W, but I must say I personally prefer the colour one. This stays an excellent photo Rebecca.

wow done in bw gives it a differen feeling then color. color seems so peaceful and this bw one gives it more of an eerie dark feeling. still awesome of course.

The B/W has a dark moody quality. While the colour invites you to walk a while, gaze around and just quietly enjoy the peace, this one tends to make me want to walk quickly, get past that rise in the road as I don't know what is waiting there. The bare branches seem more grasping. I like them both and each stands on their own Rebecca. Well done.

Very different mood in the b/w version, Rebecca! Nice tones. I like them both equally, for different reasons! How's that for fence sitting?
Dave.

Nice picture Rebecca. It's remember me of some of the paintings of Rembrandt or something. Very well done! Femke

I like thi soft tone composition.. for which the title that you choose fits well. The atmosphere of your capture, which is simply a road, leads to the dream.. Excellent Rebecca.

Excellent composition, Rebecca, you picked the right spot to stop for a photo! You might want to try lightening and/or boosting the contrast, in the lower half of the image, unless you're deliberately after a "dim light" feel.

Very atmospheric in black and white. I dont normally like roads in a scene but here it works well.
