Thanks Marcus for your comments. Not very high when I captured this. My Nikon 300 mm could capture it plus I cropped it to some extent. There is a bird santuary in S.India called "Vedanthangal" about 90 minutes drive from Chennai (Madras). About 20,000 birds nest here in this season. They travel from far off countries including Siberia (Russia). Quite a scene to watch all birds. Our govt has declared this place as a reserved forest and strict rules are followed to make sure the birds are not distrubed. The local villagers love these birds as they enrich the soil with their droppings.
