Taken in - literally - the Taggerty River. Some leaches had a good lunch on me, but nothing else got wet or eaten, and I came home with some pleasing photos. This was scanned from a 6 x 4 print. I'm saving for a slide scanner.
Thanks Bernhard. It was late afternoon, I was under my umbrella standing in the rain and in the river, trying to keep the camera dry. I'd given up on keeping me dry by that stage. I was pleased with the results though! I might see about adding a few more shots from this excursion. Ed
fantastic capture, I like the perspective a lot and that you can see the river in the background too. You can imagine how long and beautiful it is in all it's length.
the colours are gorgeous too, I love the dark & heavy tones.
The contrast and lighting are excellent and so is the effect of the slow shutter speed on the water flow. I wish the image was little larger. Good work Ed, regards, Khaled.
